When I was young I spent lot of time watching pictures that my father took during our travels. But the lesson I learnt from him was that you can find interesting moments also in everyday life.
So in 1998 I bought my first Olympus (film) and in 2000 I went totally CANON (S10 – G3 – D300 – D400).
I used to take an average of 5.000 pictures/month, and this is when I am not traveling.
I am not a photographer, truth is I don’t even know how to use my camera in a serious professional way. What I like is the way I see the world when I have my camera, the extra curiosity that a camera brings to my attitude, even when I am walking back home in a street that i could walk blindfolded.
Every photo you won’t take, it’s a memory that will disappear. This was a canon advertise on tv and I really liked it. Now, I saw the perfect rainbow on a morning in Finland and I had no power in my camera so I could not take any picture. I know I will remember it forever but I don’t have a picture of it. I will survive but I am still hunting for a more perfect one
